I have had the opportunity to be personally trained by Michael Grinder and I can tell you for certain, He is no joke, nor is his work! He has put a lot of time and effort into this project and there is a reason for literally EVERYTHING he has done in this book. Those individuals writing poor reviews about this book either know NOTHING about classroom management, or have NEVER read the book. The $25 this book is currently selling for is not enough. I have taught several years in a high impact school where classroom management skills were a must. Nothing helped me more than reading, and USING the multiple skills presented in Michael Grinder's book.
