The Organ Grinder ReviewRebecca Eaton, a star journalist, is captured while trying to interview a Human Rights activist in the beginning throes of war between two Asian countries. At the hands of her captors she is beaten, tortured and raped. But that wasn't enough. They cut her open and removed a kidney- part of a worldwide conspiracy to steal, harvest and sell human organs. During those traumatic events Rebecca lost her memory. All connections to her world- and the people who loved and cared for her- erased.
Dominic Kane, a security expert, is hired by Rebecca's employer to find Rebecca and to bring her safely home. If Dominic isn't successful, there's a lot more for him to lose since he is also Rebecca's ex-lover. To win her freedom he has to take on the people behind the mass murder of thousands who are the victims of a human organ harvest.
Sara Curran-Ross injects us with a surge of adrenalin; consuming us in a rush of fast paced thrills and action that will have you excitingly turning the pages of this book for hours. This story will appall you. It will scare you. It will educate you and it will show you how dark and sinister a human soul can be. But even through it all, the author is able to tell an incredible love story that ultimately butts up against the idiosyncrasies of people torn apart by greed, power and threatening ultimatums.

In the end this story will bear witness to the depth, strength and will of the human spirit as Rebecca Eaton displays unfaltering courage in the face of unimaginable fears. Through the battle fatigue of war and the horrors of being tortured, raped and gutted for a kidney- we all wish we had the mettle to survive as she did.
Sara Curran-Ross is a writer with lots of talent and it's hard to believe that The Organ Grinder is only her 2nd book published. In my opinion she has positioned herself at the beginning of a long and successful run as a well gifted and flourishing author.
